This project entailed repairs and improvements to single-family dwellings and duplex town homes within Forrestal Village (179 units) and Halsey Village (27 units). A partial list of improvements include upgrading kitchens, dining rooms and bathrooms, replacing windows and trim, interior and exterior doors, roofing, siding, flooring and new interior finishes. Also included were asbestos removal, patching and repair of drywall ceilings and walls, complete replacement of mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems and site landscaping. The project was completed 10 months ahead of schedule and awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for Outstanding Performance from the U.S. Department of the Navy.
