| Description: |
Phase I of this new design-build
project for American Water has an average flow of one million
gallons per day for an estimated population of 10,000 people.
The project consists of a raw sewage pumping station, fine screen
building, dual tank oxidation ditch with aerators/mixers, two
65’ diameter secondary clarifiers, UV disinfection system,
RAS and WAS pumping stations, one 54’ diameter aerobic digester
with 18’ diameter interior sludge holding tank with coarse
bubble diffusers. A masonry control building houses a 1.5 meter
belt filter press, blowers, electrical, controls, and generator.
The site also includes a dewatering sludge storage pad and the
removal of the existing contact stabilization tank. Lintech Engineering,
LLC is the design engineer.
