Publications

Safety publications reinforce safe practices by keeping personnel informed and reinforcing safe working habits. Safety summaries covering a variety of topics are distributed weekly with employee paychecks. Past topics have included “Working Safely with Flammable Substances,” “Hammers and Other Impact Tools,” “Sanitation,” and “Personal Protective Equipment.”

Safety articles are always included in the JJH newsletters. Topics have included “OSHA 10 Hour Training,” “Increased Safety Training at JJH,” Hand Tool Safety,” “Superior Training in Accident Reduction Techniques,” Seasonal Safety Issues,” and “Trench Safety and Working in Confined Spaces.” Other articles highlight safe jobsite performance and safety awareness practices.
